MY TREASURES

Miners dig the deepest ground to find gold. Divers dive the widest and deepest ocean to seek the pearl and other treasures that are found in there. But me, no need to climb, to dive, and to dig because the treasure I look for are here inside of me.

What could that be?


Each of us has our own wants, needs, and choice. We decide based on what we think is worth it to accomplished and done with. We have different option but we end up at the same point, the point where we becomes happy. Our goal is to live with happiness that is why we keep searching the treasures in life because that what makes us glorified and victorious. Sometimes, because of that we forgot the things that we cant live without. And at the end, we ends up with regret.
What I am trying to emphasize is that, the real treasures are cannot be found at the widest ocean nor at the core of the earth. These treasures are no need to be be searched for because they are already discovered. And sometimes, in many cases, they are just taken for granted and shown a less care and importance.
Do you already have an idea of what i meant? Can you take a guess? Let see if you really think of it. The treasures that I am telling you are the people who valued us the most. The people who molded as to be better as what we are now. Mostly, They are the people who makes us frowns and gives us smiles. and who are these people? they are our friends, family and especially our special someone.

See, you don't have to seek your treasures, all you have to do is to give them importance. Value their presence. Not by having feast, but by giving them your time and yourself is enough to show how worth they are. The clock is running, better start moving now! Act like your lucky of having them. I know we are all important to someone who are important to us as well.

The Magnet By: Leslie B. Calibay               One of the streets in Juna Subdivision is the Carlos Avenue Street. It is a side road of Philippine Women’s College of Davao.
